symphony of lightning

named after a french song, la symphonie des éclairs, this series shows tropical storms at its peak from far to close. though these scenes might be breathtaking, they are mortally dangerous. airplanes must avoid them as far as possible, at a minimum distance of 40 km. if in some photos, the storms seem to be just within a reach of hand, it is because they are too big and wide.
